What is TCP/IP & UDP Attacks ?Detail explanation Chapter 1.

TCP/IP & UDP:

Aaj hum TCP/IP aur UDP attacks ko samjhenge, jo web par hone wale sabse common aur effective attacks hain.

TCP/IP Attacks:

TCP ek connection-based protocol hai jo synchronization ka process use karta hai. Ye synchronization process vulnerable hoti hai aur attackers isse attack karte hain. Yahan TCP attacks ke teen types hain.

TCP SYN or TCP ACK Flood Attack:

Is attack ka maqsad server ko overload karna hota hai, taki wo dusre clients ko service na de sake.Attacker baar-baar ACK requests bhejta hai lekin connection ko complete nahi karta. Server incomplete connections ko hold karta rehta hai aur isse uske resources khatam ho jaate hain.

TCP Sequence Number Attack:

Is attack mein attacker TCP session ke sequence number ko guess karke session ko hijack kar leta hai.Agar sequence number sahi guess ho jaata hai, to attacker session ke data ko access kar sakta hai ya session ko disrupt kar sakta hai.

TCP Hijacking:

Is attack mein attacker network ke kisi host ko disconnect karta hai aur apne machine ko us IP address ke sath network mein insert karta hai.Isse attacker original system ka session control kar leta hai aur data ko access kar sakta hai.

UDP Attacks:

ICMP Attacks:

ICMP protocol ka use network diagnostics ke liye hota hai, jaise ping commands.

Attacker ICMP requests ka use karke server ko overload karta hai, jo usko DoS (Denial of Service) situation mein daal deta hai.

Smurf Attack:

Is attack mein attacker spoofed IP address ke sath network pe ek broadcast ping request bhejta hai.Network ke sabhi hosts is ping request ka jawab dete hain, jis se target system overload ho jaata hai.

ICMP Tunneling:

ICMP packets ka use secret data ya malware ko chhupane ke liye kiya ja sakta hai.Isse bachne ke liye ICMP traffic ko network pe block karna zaroori hai.
